Skriva short story workshops provide you with discussion points and story prompts around specific themes and in different genres. Individual workshops run for 2.5 hours. You'll come away with your unique outline for a new short story, and several paragraphs of a first draft.  Workshops as part of a course are 1.5 hours, and give you room to write in between our meetings. These workshops and courses are tutored by award-winning short story writer Sophie Cooke. Previous students of Skriva short story workshops have had their stories published in literary magazines like Litro. We're happy to help you simply write a story for your own enjoyment too! It's a fun, stimulating class, whatever your level of experience - from complete beginner to advanced. (10 people per workshop)

In this course of 4 monthly workshops, you'll learn about the dynamic at the heart of every ghost story and then set about writing your own.
